Hello Rina,
Welcome to SeniorNet. I would like to say Hello to you and your friends. Thank you for your support and sentiments about our tragedy. It has brought all Americans much closer together. Flags fly from many automobiles and homes.
I have attached a little photo of myself so that you can see what I look like. It was taken on a friend's porch in Columbus, Ohio, when my wife, Lorra, and I were on a visit to her high school class reunion last July.
I would also like to invite you to visit the international SeniorNet web site at www.seniornet.org. Here people from all over the world meet and exchange views, photographs, and other news. It is much like a small town. You will even find a welcome in Japanese if you prefer near the bottom of the main page. You should register so that you can participate in the discussions. It's free. The net has been very slow lately, so please be patient.
Once you join, you will find more than 400 discussion areas for your enjoyment.
The discussions I like best are listed under "Conversational Discussions" in the index, and are SeniorNet International Cafe and Photos-Then and Now. I like to post pictures of my family and pet cats, Tony and Cleo.
If you need any assistance, please e-mail me. I would be delighted to help you learn to post photos of yourself, family, and friends if you like.
The Day With Digital Grandma is EXCELLENT!! I am going to post the address on the international SeniorNet discussion.
Your Internet friend,
Oscar Dorr
